RARE Salesmans John Deere Latching Hardhell Samsonite Briefcase w/ Embossed Logo

Description

Up for sale is a RARE Samsonite briefcase with embossed John Deere logo. This briefcase measures 18” x 13” x 3.25” and was originally only available to licensed John Deere dealers and sales reps in the 1970s. This very piece came from the estate of one such dealer, and his name appears on two green stickers affixed to the interior compartment (to be preserved or removed at your discretion).
Although this briefcase is in excellent condition overall, please note that it was used and accumulated some mild wear and tear over the course of its life. The most notable marks are the interior stain near one of the name tags and the scrape near one of the footpads as shown in the last photo. Also, although the original key is not included, this case features two exterior keyholes and a keysmith should be able to fasten a new key if you intend to use this and desire extra security.
