    HERE’S YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE A RARE AND VERY COLLECTIBLE JOHN DEERE TREASURE.
    JOHN DEERE “THE PLOW” BRONZE SCULPTURE. CREATED IN 1987 BY ARTIST RENOWN SPANISH SCULPTOR JOSE LALANDO ON THE OCCASION OF THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF JOHN DEERE & CO.
    APPROXIMATELY 13″ LONG AND 6″ TALL.
    IN 1837, JOHN DEERE, A BLACKSMITH IN GRAND DETOUR, ILLINOIS, PRODUCED THE FIRST SELF-SCOURING STEEL PLOW TO BE SUCCESSFULLY EMPLOYED ON A BROAD SCALE. THIS PLOW PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN OPENING UP THE VAST MID-WESTERN TERRITORIES TO AGRICULTURE AND SETTLEMENT.
    THIS LIMITED EDITION OF 500 REPRODUCTIONS OF “THE PLOW” WAS CAST BY MEANS OF THE LOST-WAX PROCESS AT THE MADRID ARTWORKS FOUNDRY IN SPAIN.
    UPON PERSONAL INSPECTION FOR QUALITY AND ACCURACY, EACH REPRODUCTION HAS BEEN SIGNED AND NUMBERED BY THE SCULPTOR AND CARRIES THE OFFICIAL ENGRAVING MARK OF THE MADRID ARTWORKS FOUNDRY.
    THE PLOW ITSELF IS A MINIATURE REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL.
    NO PRIOR EDITION OF “THE PLOW” EXISTS AND NO FURTHER EDITIONS WILL BE PRODUCED.
    THE MOLDS HAVE BE DESTROYED WHEN THE EDITION CLOSED.
    ORIGINAL LINEN COVERED BOX, AND AFFIDAVIT OF LIMITED EDITION.
    EXCELLENT CONDITION.
    THIS HAS BEEN TUCKED AWAY FOR DECADES.
